I was just cruising around the forum and noticed a prompt on top of my screen requesting that I provide a status of my well-being. How cool is that!

I've been cruising through this forum since early August...I just didn't want to do the intro until the license was in hand. Well, I passed the exam on the fourteenth, and the licensed arrived the following Thursday. I'm very happy to inform you all that I attained the New Mexico EMT-B licensure!

Right now, I'm working on getting some experience in the emergency room before I apply at our 9-1-1 system. It appears, as of last night, that someone I knew a long time ago recently became an ER doctor - and is giving me the opportunity to see what the busiest ER in the state does on the weekends (night shift). So that's where I'll be getting my gloves dirty in two weeks :)

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and to thank you for all that you impart.

If things haven't changed much in the South Valley, I'm thinking you'll be a pro in GSW and stabbings before too long. Welcome back, and visit often!!

YEA for you Mark! I am glad you got your license. I knew you'd do it though.

Ok, I have the same prompt....so I'll do mine too...

Welcome, and good to see ya again!

I think my dream job would be working in the ER, so that'll be a ton of fun! I know a lot of the EMTs and Medics I work with also would love to be in your position, so make the most of it!

Don't be a stranger, I'd love to hear some good 'ole weekend ER stories :)

Congrats, Mark.

Working weekend overnights in a busy ER can be REAL fun... just don't expect to be able to eat or even sit down for long streches of time, at least not Friday or Saturday nights.
