The girlfriend & I are taking off tomorrow morning on a nice long trip.

Map of our route. We're driving from California to North Dakota and then to Minnesota. There's a Steak & Shake in Waterloo, Iowa, so we're going to hit that up and then drive back to California.

Have a good trip. Sounds like a fun long drive. Oh and have fun going through Nebraska there ain't a whole lot there and its kinda flat. Oh and warm. I've driven through a couple of times. Now Iowa on the other hand doesn't look that bad at least the corn around my neck of the woods is about knee high.

As for my plans I get to work on Monday. And have a party with the family tonight with BBQ and fireworks.

We're celebrating it on the 5th since Jay has to work. And I'm on duty the day before so I'll be a zombie Tues...

Unfortunately I'm going to Fargo, ND. When in Minnesota go boating, enjoy everything except for the moisquitos and wood ticks. This will be a damned boring 4th weekend but everyone be safe and have fun!
