Got my first emt interview

Finally after a year I got my first emt interview. I was so excited I forgot to ask a couple questions. Anyone here work for rural metro in Orlando? She did say there was an assessment at the interview. What should I expect? Any pointers? Was told it is part time but you can pick up more than 24 hours if you want (if it's approved). Anyone know what the pay is like for pt vs ft?

(funny thing is they weren't hiring but I mailed my app and resume in anyway a few weeks ago)
 
Hey! I also applied last week...Ive been waiting to get my foot in the door for 15 months, but we shall see! Assessment?....GREAT. I havent done skills since class!!! Maybe it will be a written test? I spoke with HR through email about a month ago and she told me RM had 90 active apps on file! Within the past month they've posted 15 open spots on the internet, so I applied anyway. Without really knowing your background I would say you are LUCKY to get an interview considering all the applicants in central FL!

Oh also, she had said that for EMT's with 0-2 years experience going rate is $9.00 an hour
