I read this book a while back called Trauma Junkie. Last night i passed the book on to this RN student at work with the hopes of inspiring her. I really enjoyed the book and i definitely recommend it. It is comprised of stories of a woman in San Francisco bay area and her experiences as a flight nurse. Some of the stories are pretty crazy. It's also a relatively quick read. One of the RNs that works in the ER with me used to be one as well. I find it fascinating.

Not to be rude, but is there a question or lesson here?
Or are you just recommending this book to us?

I read it quite a while ago. I agree it is an easy and entertaining read. I would also recommend it for someone who wants to read something EMS-related that is interesting and entertaining but not heavy.

I thought it was an entertaining book and would recommend it for a quick read. Not sure how much the HEMS environment has changed but the book is fairly old.
