So Im a tech in NYC and I've been working odd jobs that has nothing to do with the medical field. Would this be a smart decision because Some of these tech job takes months to get? Or should I become a security guard?

1st aid instructor, CPR instructor, AED instructor...all bundled together and not much money to be made unless it is something an employer is looking for in a new hire. Not cheap to get certified anymore, either. If you do go, get AHA.

It is very challenging to make a career out of being a CPR/First Aid instructor. It's a nice side gig, but I don't think you can count on it paying the bills.

Thank you the fast replies. Wow I do feel lost and don't know how to break myself in the medical field.

Go to school. Get a certificate or diploma. Then get a job. On the side, there are volunteer gigs, and American Red Cross offers many classes.
