I'm not the one that made the claim a degree would be required.

Not to jump on a sinking ship but I have had this conversation with several coworkers who constantly complain about their pay and go to the argument of 'A nurse can't do what I can but they make more". I tell them make becoming a Paramedic easier then paying a fee and sitting in class for a year and you will have the bargining chip in your hand.

I have been an EMt for 9 years. I applied to medic school after my 3rd year and was denied because of "lack of experience". Now almost every school in my area offers a program where you do "zero to hero" right to medic.

Having dated a few nurses I know a thing or 2 about what nurses have done to advance nurses from nuns to the highly respected career field it is today.

Did you know, recently do to the rapid increase of people attending nursing school and Nursing schools popping up. A National nursing union had the minimum requirement to become an APRN raised from a Master to now a Doctorate.

It wouldnt happen overnight but raising the standard to become a Paramedic, would raise the quality of the paramedic. A group of educated, motivated Paramedics could accomplish this.

I agree with the sentiment in this thread - The grammar and spelling issues make actually answering the OP's question difficult. That said, I feel the OP's question itself, while poorly phrased, is an important question. I'd like to see the discussion continue in a new thread.

I've started another thread HERE: http://www.emtlife.com/showthread.php?t=28606 to discuss the OP's question... without it descending into an English class, please.
