not any more... but they still had them when I was living in NJ.... now I would go to WalMart and find the cheapest digital watch i could find that had a backlight

Normally I wouldn't ask this (out of respect for your privacy), but what state is saying this? because this sounds like a misinterpretation of a state regulation.

I generally am wearing my Garmin smartwatch with a seconds display, but often will just feel the pulse- slow, fast, etc. Then the pulse ox gives the number.
