I am a nremt/colorado cert.// iv cert/ ekg cert..over 10 years experience.. And nothin'
 
Are you willing to relocate anywhere? Check out the Indianapolis area, most if not all, services are hiring. This includes IFT trucks and the city's 911 service.
 
Also, the IV/EKG cert means nothing outside of Colorado. You'll have a much better chance of securing a decent paying job as a paramedic.

(I wish there was an icon for "tongue in cheek" when I say decent...)

If you don't care about moving, search out places that look like where you might want to live and start investigating services there. Texas isn't a bad place, I'm told.

Hey, well THAT'S great news for me!!! I'm in the Indy area and hopefully, I will be certified by Oct. Let's hope all those companies are still hiring then!:)

i'm sure they will be. still plenty of holes to fill, even after the current recruit academy is finished.
