I took my practical tonight. I made a rookie mistake on a station - forgot to verbalized BSI (scene was safe). At the end the proctor asked me if I missed anything and I replied "I may have missed bsi". Is there a chance I could pass that station? FYI the station was one where they told you up front the scene was safe. Other than this blunder I did very well on the station (I think).

I'm hoping to hear from anybody that had a similar experience and passed.

All depends on your testing proctor and if BSI was a fail point for that station. Without knowing the skill and the proctor no one is going to be able to accurately respond.

Next time just wear gloves into the station and you wont have to verbalize BSI.
Also don't fill bad, when I took mine I forgot to check the pulse on the airway station in the right order, but luckily that was the only station I failed and we got to take it again that same day. Like I said don't stress out about it, those test are a pain in the but for everyone.

I checked the skill sheet for longbone imobilization and failure to verbalize bsi is not listed as a critical fail. I may have passed.

If you mentioned it at the end. I'm sure they marked it as done. That's why he asked
