Hello all my name is Chris and I just got my NREMT and I'm awaiting my CBI to come back to get my Colo cert. I really would love to get out of the current work situation I'm in and finally start practicing. I'm currently not IV certified and was inquiring if that is a must to start applying anywhere or would AMR or the Hospitals train me and certify me?

I have noticed that this all is a time consuming process, especially when your just super excited to get going. I wish AMR would let me do some more ride alongs.

IV certification is a must for every pretty much every place in Colorado. Get on it as quick as you can.

Unfortunately, you'll need that Colorado license in hand before you can do your IV class clinicals. CBI is super backed up at the moment too, so I hope you sent your fingerprint card in early. Best of luck! We're all in the same boat.

I took my IV class already now I have to wait for CBI to do my 8hr hospital shift to get my 10 successful sticks. So I'm on my way just wish CBI will hurry. They said they are switching to a new system to help speed up. But I'm looking to be done around may...
