Have a happy and safe EMS WEEK !

We started EMS week with a big steak BBQ and awards at work. Lots of prizes and stuff. I won an award for "documentation excellence". (I guess I spelled paramedic correctly on most of my charts)

Really nice turn out. All the crews brought family, lots of people from the ED, local flight crew and fire stopped by. Really a nice day at afternoon.

Best part? The station fridge is STUFFED with leftovers and I got a free pen.

I wonder what my company is going to give us this year

Sounds pretty cool. I love free pens.

Hello and Happy EMS Week!

This is just an idea, but considering the financial crisis I was considering that an MBA would be a great title for EMS Management. It would, however, be required to become an EMT, which shouldn't be a big deal, and then just a matter of putting in the hours required for clinical. Afterwards, some volunteering should be able to suffice for practice (to keep up with research).
