question about employment, i live in canada just completed the EMT program (pcp) i have a friend that is trying to convince me to move down to san francisco, im just curious what the wage would be like there and how saturated the market is with people looking for work, would this wage be enough to live on? if not what are some potential career paths leading from ems

From what I understand, the canadian EMT scope of practice is much higher than ours.. something along the lines of our emt-p. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

From what I gather it is a higher scope. Also would there be a huge benefit for me to take the final two year program for emt_p? If the scope of our emt is similar to your emtp?
