Pertaining to an EMT vehicle that is clearly marked with EMT plates. If you witness or drive by a MVA are you legally obligated to stop?
And if so, say you are running late to work because you had to stop and assume patient care, are you legally protected from being laid off since you did have a duty to act?
My manager at the cruise line I waiter at is strict with late arrivals and on multiple occasions has actually taken people off the schedule or fired them outright for arriving late and I was just wondering if a situation such as that arises, would my job be protected per NJ state law.
