hello everyone.we have a student in my class who has a felony from 30 years ago when she was a kid.shes afraid she wont be able to finish.shes super smart and a really nice person.any thoughts?

Ah man, keep dreaming Corey. Resisting arrest and theft from what I have seen first hand has hindered many from entering a career in EMS.
It sucks when bad decisions made earlier in life follow you, but that's life.
In Australia potential employees are required to submit a criminal history check, and driving history. Being such a competitive field, human resource managers can pretty well afford to eliminate anybody without a squeaky clean record. Even having 1 speeding ticket can throw you on the reject pile.
