I'm just about to start writing my dissertation and would like to link the profession of paramedic to forensics as a title but not sure how to do this. Does anyone have any ideas that may be able to help me out? Or any other good topics to think about??

Importance of forensic evidence preservation by EMS providers, or something similar on that line? Maybe evaluating what is most important for field responders to attempt preserve in the middle of destroying everything to tray and save a life.

I assume we're talking forensics of that nature, not the debate type?

Yea. So I could post the argument of what is more important - preservation of evidence or of human life and the impact EMS have on a crime scene??

Something along those lines could go very well if you'd like to delve deep into ethics. You could also specifically look at what evidence is most frequently destroyed by field providers, or maybe even do a survey of agencies to see what their protocols are for preserving crime scenes, etc.

Just a couple ideas I can think of... I want to school with a lot of forensic majors and it sounds like stuff they could have done.

This could be very interesting. Would you be up for posting a copy when it's finished?

Seconded. Would love to see the paper when you have it done :)

Is the paper for a particular level of program, say a bachelors, masters, etc.?
