Hi guys. I'm from Malaysia and have few questions to ask about.

1. Is EMT and Medical Assistant a same career?
2. Do i need a perfect teeth to start career in EMT/Medical Assistant?
3. I am too old. 25 years right now. Is it too late to be EMT/Medical Assistant?

Hopefully you guys would help me out.

I'm looking forward to enjoy more on this forum. Thanks!

1. No
2. No, but advisable to look good. Your patient is trusting you to take care of them, so if you look like you cant take care of yourself. well then...
3. No such thing.

1. I don't see such career exist as medical assistant in other countries especially USA. any equivalent name for this?
2. well I have seen a lot of fat boys and girls become paramedic/EMT/medical assistant/nurses. But i got your point. It is not mandatory.

Medical assisting is a thing over here, i know some, although I cant say i know too much of what they do

A medical assistant in the U.S. works primarily in a Doc's office and does basic tasks, both clinical and administrative, sort of like an ER tech.
