Thoughts on Denver EMS anyone? Saw they were hiring. I am a TX boy but Denver kinda sounds like an awesome place to live/work minus the Broncos/Nuggets, ya know a fella from TX couldn't go against his cowboys or mavs and of course rangers... Just wondering if anyone here knows much about the system (morale, SSM, 12 hr shifts or 24's) also if cost of living is oober high there? Give me a job to pay bills, provide a roof over my head and allow me to be a ski bum medic, chyea! Just pondering on it and was curious of folks thoughts about the EMS systems up there... Any input appreciated!

I'm interested as well!

I am a Texan who easily goes against the cowgirls, GO Houston Texans!!!

Anyone no has gave you any info yet, and no I do not work for Denver Health but I looked into it so I know a little bit.

12hr shifts, pay is decent but nothing to write home about. Very strict credentialing process from what I am told. It seems like Denver Health has decent employee retention, but they do not get along well with DFD. I think they run something like 13 rigs during the day and 9 at night? But I could be wrong. Busy system, but clinically a sound one.
