Hey everyone, I recently completed my EMT course, receiving my National Registry and LA County card and to start apply for jobs, some places require a "Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate."

I'm confused to what this is exactly, where can I get the form for LA County?
Or who can I conduct this physical with.

Thanks for reading and any feedback would help!^_^

You get the form from the DMV. And you can go to your doctor, he/she will fill it out.

Isn't the Medical Examiner for the dead? "Call the ME. He's dead." Are you dead? How long have you been dead? This is intense.

A medical examiners card is required by the DMV to obtaine a ambulance driver cert. most doc and chiropractors have the fits in their office. if your getting a cert for the first time a ME card is required along with a live scan (fingerprinting)

And if you are a kaiser-permanente client/patient they charge you 70 bucks at the occupational medicine department. I first thought my attending physician can fill it out for me but she pointed me to occupational medicine. Maybe my insurance plan doesn't cover it.

CAll a doc in the box, shop around.
