Current Massachusetts Pay

Does anyone know what Trinity Ambulance and Pridestar EMS both in the Lowell/Chelmsford area are paying. I keep hearing $15.00/hr. Just wondering how much truth there is to that or if they are offering more. I am an EMT and have about 4 years experience if that makes any difference.

I worked on the east coast, I would be surprised if they paid that much for a basic in MA. Best thing you can do is call and ask what they start their employees at.

The company I worked for paid 12.50 an hour for basics and 17 for medics. Was highest paying out of the other options I found around Boston/South shore.

South shore with 4 years as an EMT I got between $13-14. $15 sounds a little high for a new hire even with experience.

Your experience might help boost the hourly rate but for the most part EMTs are starting around $11-14 with an a average around the $12-13 mark. New medics in MA start around $16-17. When I was a brand new EMT, made $12 an hour and $16 when I was a crispy new medic
