Contract EMT: How gain affiliation after NREMT recert for active status?

Hi Guys,

I recently did my NREMT recert on my own. I’m not affiliated with any ambulance service as I’ve been a contract/hospital based EMT. My NREMT is (inactive) as I don’t have affiliation. What are the ways to gain active status without going FT to an ambulance service? I hold an active CO cert but that will need to be renewed soon as well.
