Class underway!

Just have to say that my EMT-B class is finally underway and I am thrilled. We've had one so far that was all lecture, but next week is 8 hours of CPR!

And I bought my stethoscope. I feel like a real EMT student now!

I am sure you will be thrilled once you start going through patient assessment and the stuff that you do for a stable patient.

But pay real good attention for patient assessment, if you master this all others is just a walk in the park.

Make sure you read the assigned reading before you go to class. That way everything that is said will be a review for you. Take notes in class as well. Even if you never look at the notes again, the action of writing it down will make a connection in your brain and stick. The next day, read the chapter again. That way you have been exposed to the same information 3 times in a short period of time.
