That's what I find strange. I live in a small town; and we have about 3-4 calls a day, usually "trauma". Maybe I am just in a high risk area for stupidity.

I appreciate the no-call periods.. make me feel like I doing something bad by sleeping and getting paid. We work 24 r shifts, and average about 15-18 emergency calls per truck, usually at least 2-3 after midnight.. I like no-tones @ nights..Murphy's law is prominent though..
