I can't get into the chat. Is there a username/password besides the one I have for this site?

I'll wait outside the doors until you're done... come back soon!

I cant but I quess if I started repeating myself i could!!!

I believe it had to do with people making worthless posts to up their count to get into the chat and then would behave immaturely.

At least that's what I believe I read somewhere around here

Close. It was more of just the immaturity in the chat room that caused us to set limits on when people could enter it. We figured that once members posted enough they would be comfortable with the rules, they would then know how to act in the chat room.

There were other reasons as well, but the immaturity was the biggest reasons.

I kind of tend to agree here. If someone was acting immature and not repescting the rules, I don't think they will just immediately change their ways once their post count turns to 150. Maybe you can just remove people from the Chatroom Membership if they fail to obey the rules instead of restricting when people can join?

We wanted to try something as an intermediate step instead of removing the chat room completely. We tried the route of dealing with individuals, but it was becoming too much work for the Community Leaders and Chat Hosts since it was such a wide spread problem.

The Community Leaders are in the process of reviewing the number of posts required for chat access, so changes may be forthcoming.
