Carolina's input

I am an NREMT-P, and The wife and I are planning a move south. We know we want to be in the Carolinas, but have no real set in stone area. I have pm'ed a few times with some folks, but now I am ready to apply. I have narrowed it down to three; Mecklenburg NC, Lexington SC and Richland SC.

Does anyone have any input to any of these? Pros and cons are welcome!

Second on MEDIC. I interviewed and was offered a job, but decided not to continue for some personal reasons. Nice trucks, people seemed friendly. Lots of OT. Not terribly progressive protocols, but adequate for urban/suburban EMS. Money was fair for NC.
