Hi! I rec'd the call back and was told to get the pre hire phyiscal test done. If I pass I'm in... does anyone know anything about this test or what I should do to prepare? It is done at a chiropractors office. Aany advice? Thanks
If it's anything like the test I just did for Rural/Metro San Diego, it's pretty straightforward and consists of drug test, physical examination, and lift test of 120 pounds.

The test is a weird contraption you get into that tests your back strength. It will progressively get harder and harder about 5 times and the test is done. Its based on levels of resistance depending on your height and weight. 95% people pass including woman. After that there is lifting around 80-100lbs up a few steps. Once that is done you have a quick talk/physical with the doc and it's over. It's really nothing to worry about and takes about 45 minutes total.

@ Tito... I did the app online and got a call about a week later, 2 days after the call, went in for an interview. The process was like 3 1/2 hrs, but it included a written test, an interview with a panel of 3 people and a skills test. The tests were simple, basic emt info, nothing to crazy.

Just curious, when you did the personality survey as part of the online app, did you select "strongly disagree" or "strongly agree" on all of the questions?
