Can I get emt b certification in Texas with a class b misdemeanor as a minor?

When I was 15 i recieved a class b misdemeanor for possession of .5 grams of marijuana. It's now been 5 years since then. Would this keep me from getting certification in Texas ?

I would suggest asking the Texas dept of health (or whomever in Texas decides these things) for a more official answer.
