nope. that was just because you asked. im not going to criticise how they choose to run their board. i'll just be making a personal choice and keeping to myself a little more if i choose to stick around.
 
i think the amount of posts required to post and chat is only going to deter people from using this site in general.....
 
Feh. I don't. I've seen a lot of the board members have some good things to say in their posts. I don't agree with them all 100% of the time, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to chat with 'em live...

agreed. That is alot of posts to have to reach. I would love to chat, but I am not up to par yet as far as posts.
 
That rule was changed for a reason. This forum was being flooded with stupid posts, just so people could get the required amount.

A lot of forums have rules like that in effect. As they stated, the chat is a privilege you have to earn.

I don't agree with the PM issue, but it is their forum, to run as they see fit.

Is that not happening now? Seems to me there would be more stupid posts now than before

If there is a trend by a person or old posts revived for no reason, Then admin can send out warnings.
 
You guys can request chat access!! Its in that same thread, so request it!
 
I think they need atleast 50 posts to request access?
