California Critical Care Paramedic Scope of Practice

If they're THAT sick, they probably shouldn't leave the hospital. And if they do, it shouldn't be by ground.

I know this might be breaking from the mold, but I really don't feel super-comfortable with taking truly critical patients alone in any event.
We'll bring a second medic on our truly critical IFTs. Mountain weather means a lot of times flight is not available and sometimes the space constraints in the tiny aircraft don't make for better transport conditions.

I think that's a pretty good solution. I k ow our supervisors probably would go if they're available on truly sick transfers.
