Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you know any other CA private ambulance that will sponsor an EMT-B through medic school? Preferably a 911 company. I know I have to work for the company for an extended period of time in exchange for sponsorship.

The ones that I know of:
AMR - NCTI / LVAPEC
REMSA - University of Nevada, Reno College of Extended Studies and University of Nevada School of Medicine
Halls - Bakersfield College Paramedic Training Program

Thanks

When I got hired with AMR 2 years ago at the time they were not sponsoring anyone for medic school (at least the ones in my area). It could have changed in the years that have passed but I haven't heard anything.

Some fire departments (I can't name any) will pay fully for their employees to go thru a medic program.

Where do you work? I'm not going the fire route so no sponsor from them.

I work for Care in OC, rumor has it that FALCK (our new owner) will higher medics for other counties not for OC or LA
