hi, im studying prehospital care 11 th edition, and i’m not native. i don’t understand some sentences.
what’s the meaning of:
Unit 101, proceed to 1-80 at the scales. State Patrol reports collision with multiple injuries involving tanker truck. Be advised, tanker is leaking unknown product.

The first one you are being dispatched to a semi tanker truck accident with multiple injuries and a hazardous material situation.

The second one seems like bad advice for dealing with an active shooter scenario.
 
Number two is in regards to a violent person, NOT an Active Shooter.

It was the "clear the killing zone" part that made me think of an active shooter.
 
A killing zone of 100-150 yards? Are they shooting bird shot?
 
The center post is the post between the front and back seats.
As usual in these books, the authors don’t know crap about their subject.
