Does anyone know how the Birmingham systems are? I want to relocate here after I get my NREMT next week. I'm currently in Columbia, SC and we have county systems. It doesn't seem that way in AL. I've noticed a lot of fire/ems and private companies. AMR is here but the website said there are no current openings so, I guess my question is... Where to apply? I've done searches but get pretty much nothing. I did find North star EMS which is 911/IFT.
