Hmm. Interesting article. I'd be very curious to hear from some of the field providers. I know Chewy works there, and this piece seems decidedly one sided. It certainly opens up some room for discussion though and seems well researched.
I think you can take that article, pick any medium to large EMS system, and immediately see the same issues repeating themselves.
I know if I listed my last 3 employers (including my present one), many of the problems listed in the AC article could be applied to them, and 2 out of 3 were historically known as high performance EMS systems
With that being said, I think ATC worsens its problems with obtuse hiring processes and what looks to be unsupportive medical and operational direction.
