I'm a Paramedic currently licensed and working in AR. I'm looking to move to Asheville, NC fairly soon. I was wondering if any of you who are currently working in Asheville could give me any information about the ambulance services in the area. I'd like to know what schedules they work. I'm currently working an ABC schedule, 48 on 96 off, and I love it. What does it take to get licensed in NC? Are they private or hospital based? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
