Anybody know when Texas stopped using this version of the patch? I can't find anything on google to date it.

Looks like it's from the 80s.

I could totally see Marty McFly rolling up in a Dalorean lights and sirens with that patch on.

Unless I'm mistaken, couldn't have been too long ago, as I still had some brand new ones that were in that style. That or they just had a ton of left-overs at that agency.


Though now all are in the 'normal' lettering.

2005 was last year of that issue. I remember our company *****ing about having to change patches

You can get a buck 25 for them on ebay, not really a valuable collectable.

I paid 5 bucks for 4 new ones and 3 used ones.
