Anyone have any information on this? Specifically the San Bernardino/Riverside area. Is AMR's written test harder than the NREMT-P? What's the required percentage to pass? What kind of questions are asked during the interview process. Are their employees happy to work there? Is it mostly 911 or mostly IFT? Is one station better to work at than another? Is experience so highly valued that they won't take a fresh Paramedic (with emergency experience)? Pay, hours?

I can't speak for the medic test but the EMT test is comparable to NREMT. It's 70-80% to pass (not exactly sure how low). Interviews vary greatly division by division. Some employees are happy and others aren't, also varies by division. It's mostly 911 but you will run IFT calls.

They hire fresh medics and experienced medics. From what I know there is no pay difference if you have experience or not. Starting pay is around 15-18$ per hour depending on your division. Full time hours are normally 48 hours on week A and 36 hours on week B or 36 on week A and 48 on week B.
