AMR in Austin, Tx

Has any one been threw the hiring process with AMR in Austin lately? What are the steps like, how long does it take for them to contact you?

I went thru their process in Farmers Branch. Well I took their test and interviewed. I did well on it all and they invited me to the physical agility but the pay was not very good so I pulled out. The test was quite easy I thought, just basic paramedic stuff, if your applying for work as a medic....... I am not sure about the EMT-B side though.

Why work for AMR in Austin? Have you considered Travis County EMS?

Im a basic, they only hire paramedics to work the streets. Basics work dispatch, even though I did hear that they might start running emt/paramedic trucks instead of medic/medic, but thats not official.
