AMR Hiring Question

Well i was told that i had a spot already and there were 5 of us and we were all told that if we passed the physical exam we were hired so i am just waiting for the call for my job offer. And i was told this last monday as well

I didnt get that much. All they told me was if you pass the oral interview you get a phone call within a week, and you get put on a future academy wait list. Looks like you are ahead of me then.

Good luck!

Thanks!

Just be patient... California AMR's HR dept. handles many many employees and they aren't always on time so just give it a few days

Thanks...I know their HR Dept can sometimes be a little slow. I know you get a call if you pass and a letter if you are rejected.

Kecpercussion, have you been on the AMR SCC academy waitlist for awhile?

I am in Santa Clara County CA in the Bay Area. They said I passed the oral interview, and now I come into fill out new hire paperwork. But then I have to wait for their next academy, so they put me on the waitlist.

I am still trying to figure out how their process works.

You could not pay me enough to work for AMR. They are truly a bottom line corporation with no regard for patient care or their employees. My advice: keep looking for a decent service that actually cares about the patients that are put into their ambulances and the people that put them there. :excl:

First of all I work for AMR and I am truly a patient advocate if you wanna debate about that we can talk all you want. Second of all the people who put me into this job i.e... (the employers) are some of the nicest and most giving people that you will find anywhere, there is no doubt there are few bad seeds out and about throughout the country but then again where is there not a few bad seeds in some profession, for some company. I have to say working for AMR is very rewarding and I am very happy with my posistion in my job.

Second:

AMR does keep your information on file for 6 months but it is at their disgression wether or not they will interview you again at another location within that six months.

I have wanted to work for AMR for a long time...I am very happy I made it through the process.

I was able to really talk to my supervisor during a meeting and am very excited to work for AMR
