Ok I got my EMT a year ago, due to life unexpected life circumstances I'm bearly getting to work now. I've applied for AMR and Care, I applied last year and they both were sending me tons of e mails to go test. Now I have got zero responses from both .. Are they backed up right now anybody know ?

I applied for doctors ambulance in Laguna hills I have a interview this Friday anyone know anything about the place or have any advice ?
I have a written test just cracked out the EMT book to study.

Other then that I applied for Schafer a few days ago and I live 15 mins from brea but does anyone know where to get the ics modules done ?

Google ics-(what ever number). Should be the first link that pops up. Training.fema.gov

Care ambulance is always hiring so just wait.
AMR from what I last heard is backed up.
Doctors ambulance needs EMTs at the moment.
Emergency ambulance is a great place to work at. Especially if you live 15 minutes away.

You may also try McCormick ambulance out in Hawthorne.

Good luck!

Last I remember was AMR Santa Clarita was backed up a lot, but AV and the San Gabriel Valley divisions weren't. I know Doctors also is looking to hire a lot of EMTs. I think they offered a signing bonus.
Good luck to you though! I remember I was in the same situation as you where I didn't get hired for a year after I got my EMT cert. Just be patient!

Care has a hiring class every month it seems 0_0
I work at amr San Gabriel, they just hired bunch on but probably open up soon again
I used to work at doctors ambulance. Super chill company, everyone is really cool. Lots of private emergency calls, 911 for Laguna Beach and they got the UCI contract now

How did the Laguna Beach contract work? I have always been curious to how other companies operate.

When I was there we had one rig post in the canyon or north of broadway until about 8pm or so ish And another post " in house" at fire station 2. Was a pretty slow city though 3-4 calls maybe a day ( except in the summer) and majority of responses weren't code 3.
But from what I heard the city is looking at starting its own AO program
