allergy to non-latex gloves

I've only had one shift, and used a combo of vinyl and Nitrile gloves. I noticed a rash of small red dots on the back of my hands during the day. It never itched, nor did I feel any breathing difficulty, but it worried me. I noticed it first after using the nitrile, which is what my company uses. Tomorrow I will try and stay exclusively with the vinyl that are available in the EDs around my area. Any thoughts, information or advice would be appreciated. Also, I did wash my hands alot more than I did before working in EMS, perhaps it was one of the various soaps...

It could be a heat rash, but nitrile allergies are not unheard of. Adding powder to an irritation can make it worse. Best to use just one type and eliminate it as an allergen.
