Advanced Certifications

Wondering what kind of advanced certs are out there for EMTs and medics.

I know of flight, tactical, and wilderness/SAR, but that's about it.

Beyond that, what kinds of advanced certs aren't out there that you'd like to see? Curious.

"Critical care" is an advanced cert for paramedics in Virginia, I believe.

I realized I forgot that one about 10 minutes before I looked at that lol. We have it in Texas too. Just slipped my mind.

Wilderness EMT is a fun cert to get. It also covers a lot of expedition medical problems.

Wilderness is good to get if you want to work on a search team; either local or FEMA type; alot of times you are too far from anything to do regular EMS
