Abbott EMS and Gateway Ambulance in Missouri

Has anyone had any experiences with these companies? If so, which would be the better company to start off as a new EMT? Also, are there any other EMS companies around St.Louis that might be hiring?
 
I've deployed with some of the guys from Abbott, and they for the most part are happy with the company. It's owned by AMR, which has some benefits to it as well (like transferring to another operation in another state). That's about all I got for them.

Same. I met 3 of their crews during Sandy. Owned by AMR but all seem to be happy with the company.
