OK, so I just passed my NREMT exam and I just called into my first job listing and I think I pretty much landed it! It is a traveling EMT job and my first assignment (if hired) will be in Michigan for 8-12 weeks. +1 for going to a FREE STATE (I am a occupant of Kalifornistania) for a bit!

That said, there are a few questions she is going to ask me at the interview and I am not certain what they are, namely...

1) She is going to ask me to do a turnover... what's a turnover?
2) What is the difference between a Paramedic vs. an EMT turnover?

Also, on a semi-unrelated note... How do I change my forum status to reflect that I am an EMT-B?

Michigan is cold lol bring a jacket. I have no idea what a turnover is. But when you go to your profile and the little about me section. You put EMT B in the training box. And it will show up with your posts.

EDIT: A turn over could be like a report. when you are turning the patient over to the hospital.

After talking with a few paramedics, I did come to find that the "turnover" is just a generic term for "patient care report."

Thanks all!

Never heard that one before. Then again I'd never heard "whacker" before I came to EMTLife either. We always just called them ":censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:s".
