hey guys,
I passed my Emt class at my local fire station. It was a challenging class, but was able to pass with a 89%. I passed the class a little less than a year ago. I took the test right after the class and failed. I have taken it once more and same result. I pass the majority of the questions but don't know what to do. I have looked thru this forum but see a lot of old posts bout online websites. Some suggest JB Learning: NAVIGATE TEST PREP & others have reccomended EMT Achieve. The achieve website seems down? Anyways I'm looking for a good online study tool/ test to prepare myself for this test. I wanna start working already!

Thanks in advance!

So, there's a zillion mentions for JB learning, you mention it in your post ... And you didn't sign up for it?

Try it. I believe it to be the best test prep solution currently available.

JB Learning Navigate App. $30 for 600 questions. No recurring fees. Quiz yourself in the Ambo, on break or even on the toilet.

It's all I used and passed in less than 80 questions (medic).

Is the JB learning testing online or is it a book that comes in the mail? JB has a couple different options thats why I'm asking on which exactly to get.

There is a book published by AAOS. It has the same questions that are on the JB learning site. I will see if I can find the exact book.

Does it matter if the questions and books are published from 2006 or around that time? I would hate to study off something that protocols have changed. thanks!

I saw that after I posted. I'm not sure if that's the most recent. You could probably find out with a little digging.

yeah thanks thats why i was kinda leaning to trying JB Learning. I doubt that much has changed on the NREMT in the last couple years? Correct me if I'm mistaken?

JB learning "navigate" is an online application that works like the computer based test. In "quiz mode" it asks you questions and helps you with why the correct answer is correct. In "test mode", it's blinded and asks a set number of questions and scores your right and wrong answers.

Don't buy an outdated book! Use the online test prep.

There is an updated book that has the same questions and then some. I used it at the end of September and passed first time. I did use the JB learning, also, but as I said, more questions in the book. I just wish I could find it. It is published by JB learning.
