Does any supplier in the country have 100cc bags available yet? I have no issues ordering 500s and 1000s, just can't get 100s..

Why are you using "cc"?
I worry. Whenever, wherever, always.Old habits die hard, and this is neither being published in a journal nor in a patient's medical record. I wouldn't be worried about it.
Cardizem can be given IV as a bolus over 2 minutes, but that's using 25mg/5mL vials. If all you have are those 100mg vials, you could put 2 of them into a 250 mL bag for a 0.8mg/mL solution...just increase your drip rate by 20% and be ever so vigilant about how much you're infusing. Just, whatever you do, be absolutely certain you're not using the 100mg vials in a direct IV injection. We cannot get them, which we need to reconstitute Cardizem... So I guess Amiodarone is off the bench and in the game.

I don't like purchasing 250mL bags of saline because we use 250mL bags of D10 as opposed to D50 for our diabetics. I can easily see a med error happening if we were to carry both.
We're currently using buretrol sets for our infusions (mag, amio, TXA, and epi drips), it'll just have to do until they come back in stock..
Med errors with making up infusions can be virtually eliminated by using pre-mixed infusions. They're available for just about anything you would need pre-hospital, although of course they're more expensive.I don't like purchasing 250mL bags of saline because we use 250mL bags of D10 as opposed to D50 for our diabetics. Our 2G/250ml Lido bags that we've been getting since we ran out of 2g/500ml however, those worry me a bit. I have them physically separated and heavily sharpied, but still. You could just clearly label the 250cc bags. Or not worry much about the possibility of someone occasionally getting some dextrose that they don't really need.
