Lmao!! True. I showed her my green card and she said "thats for you in case you get stopped and need to present it". Then she went on to explain the needed paperwork. Pretty funny.
Well I just finished off with a gerber ambulance interview this morning. Went pretty good. Passed their written and lift tests. He discussed the pay and handed me an ladot form under gerber and said go back thursday for more paperwork so im assuming I got the gig? lol
Dang. I would fall in the newbie category. I did an internship of 36 hours at a hospital and my ride a longs for class but thats it. Was it scenario based skills?
Either Glendale or East LA.
On the top left corner of the site. It would give you a registry number and an expiration date, along with the level you tested on. As far as where the official statement that you passed I am not sure. But I received my card, cert, patch 2 days later.
I took it at 8am and it stopped at 72 I believe. I felt like if did badly. BUT I log in to the nremt and see I have a registry # and an expirarion date. Does that mean I passed the test!? Thanks!!
I took an emt class at the end of 2010. Passed the didactic and skills but never took the registry exam. Now that I took a refresher and up to date on everything, I want to take the registry. My question is, would I have to renew the skills part of my application since it was in 2010? Or it...
Thanks for the replys. I got a reply from the professor and he said I'll be good to go with my current CPR card. But I'll have to be be re-certified when I plan to take my NREMT.
Yes its for health care provider. But my question is will I have to get recertified as in go into a AHA approved class and take the course again based on the CAB guidelines?
I got my BLS CPR card in 2010. I'm going to take a EMT Basic course this semester and was wondering if I had to re-certify because of the 2011 guideline changes? Not sure if I will be tested on the "ABCs" or "CABs" prior to entering the class as I only know the ABC way. Thanks guys!!
Not directly, but the JB TEST PREP. is associated with the AAOS books. It's 33.95. There's a good amount of material on every category you will be tested on.
