I too had a very similar call. My partner and I were dispatched to a nosebleed call. When we arrived on scene we were greeted by a frantic mother screaming that her son was shot. PD was at the door waving, yelling for us to come in. My partner was grabbing the gear as i ran up to the house. The...
I lived and worked in philly for many yrs. As stated earlier all 911 is handled by the PFD so private service is ur best bet for work. If I'm not mistaken Drexel is close to the suburbs of philly and it is possible to find work as an EMT-B with a 911 service.

great set of 12 leads! i'am really curious as to how this pt presented and what TX's were given. you can clearly see the ST elevations in the anterior chest leads, would have been a good case to move a lead to the back to get a posterior look. thanks for posting.
in Pa. the USE of a monitor by an EMT is behond thier scope of practice...so here you would not be permitted to use the machine until you are a certified paramedic.

if its irregular then most likely the underlying rhythm is a-fib
now a-fib with RVR (rapid ventricular response) is a tachyarrithmia and thus the rate will be 100bpm or greater, in general you could consider it a SVT and...
