Hello everyone;) I am having just the hardest time understanding how to tell the difference between respiratory acidosis, and metabolic acidosis, and the same thing for the alkalosis'...... Can someone please explain to me how to tell the difference? Thank you kindly:)
Ok so i know that arteriole constriction increases diastolic pressure which causes a decreasing pulse pressure in hemmorrhagic shock. me and a couple of my EMT buddies have been arguing as to why this is the cause. can anyone elaborate? thank you!
Today in my EMT-I class, our instructor (who is so awesome) kept saying I.N.T Cap when we were going over IV's. I asked her after she was done talking about this what INT CAP means, however she didnt know:P. Do any of you know what it means? I've googled the heck out of this, to no avail...
OK, I got my test scores back last night and recieved a 89%^_^. I'm happy. Next up is my anatomy test, and that will be next week. Im having a difficult time understanding the heart, and lungs. I find Youtube has some great "study" videos, hopefully this will aid me........

I feel the same way brother. Im only 1/4 way thru my EMT I class, and the class moves at a very fast pace. I feel overwhelmed at the end of every class, but maybe this is normal, who knows....... My schedule for classes is the exact same as yours. Im in the ATL area though.
Hi ya'll, I'm a new student learning to become an EMT "I". I'm about 1/4 way through it and learning so much. I am 26 years of age, and am looking for stability, as for the last 4/5 years I have been so strapped looking for jobs that I had to sell my investment house (rental dwelling) to keep...
