    Meds/Employment

I agree with TriednTrue, the best learning experiences don't come from the classroom. If you're on an ALS rig ask your medic on any downtime you have about anything that you're not sure about. Ask him or her about the meds they're pushing or to explain the 12 lead EKGs and what they mean. The...

Advice on previous employment affecting future hireability

Should I not list either on my resume or applications then? Would it be better having nothing than having 2 months at an ambulance company and summers working at a camp? Maybe I should add that the summer camp thing was somewhat EMS related in that I was a lifeguard and responsible for basic...

Advice on previous employment affecting future hireability

We checked our units at the beginning of shift, but not at the end of shift. This was my first job in EMS and none of my coworkers checked the unit at the end of shift, nor was it ever mentioned in orientation or FTO time. In hindsight it would be good to check it both beginning and end...

Best places to work in the Sacramento Area?

Falcon I've heard good things about. Company is growing fast and will continue to from what it seems. AlphaOne when I applied there told me that they really only hire people over 21, so you might be out of luck there.
