Food Recipes - healthy, and a couple not so healthy

Only thing I left out, is you're supposed to melt a stick of butter, and mix your ground beef with it. It's a burger they sell at a place called cutters? It's a type of restaurant in Central USA. can't remember full name of it. My uncle was just telling me about it.

I see where you're getting at. I can already get CPR, and First Aid for free (CPR "skills" are just push a dummies chest in thirty times, breath in two times, and you get your CPR card, First Aid Card, just watch the video, take paper test, and you get your First Aid Card. I get each for free)...

Online CPR, First Aid, AED, and BBP cert, yay or nay?

But they actually are AHA and ARC. It's a reason why it confuses the heck out of me. I know First Aid is taught to a movie, and then you get your card. Nowadays anyways... CPR, 30:2 I've always known, Infant, Child, and Adult I already have. as well as First Aid ceritications. Would this...

Food Recipes - healthy, and a couple not so healthy

How about a deep fried bigmac? Take 2/3rd pound of beef, make it into patties, (I've NEVER ate this... But apparently was told by a man who had to have been 500+lbs of fat it's delicious... ) bread it like a country fried steak, only with some peparika in it too. Then deep fry it...

    Have I lost my mind?

Have you ever met, or spoken with a TAC/P? a CCT? SpecOps Weather? Security Forces? Never once in my life speaking to Airmen in those AFSCs, have any of them ever "whined" about their job. Well, Security Forces, a couple of 'em did, a little bit, because they felt they weren't "properly...

AHA, and ARC First Aid Courses. and CPR

The way I learned First Aid via ARC, you watched the vid, and practiced each thing they covered. then, we got into more "advanced" things then what they did in the movies. the AHA, every AHA First Aid course I've gone through, you watch a video, and take a 15 question test, and you're done...

    Paramedic vs. RN

The maturity on this thread is outstanding. At first, I was expecting a lot, if not all of you getting seriously egotistical, or "butt hurt" for asking on your opinions, and picking your brains on this single topic. I've learned a great deal. Thank you personally to each and everyone of you...

    Paramedic vs. RN

In WA, an Paramedic makes around $18-22 an hour. EMT-B, you'll never see one outside a FD. so I've never heard of anything regarding the hourly pay. but they make a min of $50K per year if fulltime. (or $40K, it depends completely on the department) pretty much the same as LPNs and RNs. with...

    Paramedic vs. RN

Sticking to the threads title, Paramedic vs RN. Getting the pay stuff out of the way (not a concern of mine) What do you ladies and gents think about the scope of practice between an Registered Nurse, and a Paramedic? I've heard a lot, that once you get your ASN, and aquire the NCLEX-RN...

Well no more Paramedic course for me....

Get into other TA programs. Tuition Assistance for Paramedic programs are all over the place. (In WA anyways) Most expensive, is $10,000 for an entire year long program. with TA, you can make it into $500, even $200 monthly payments. In WA, you can get tuition assistance for an $800 EMT-B...

Overweight, Out of Shape, & want to be a Paramedic

How'd they calculate your BMI? Did they just put Ht, Wt, into a comp? If so, it's a BS BMI. They have to measure around your neck, and measure around your stomach. than do height and weight. Me? I'm 6'4, 315lbs. with a 22% BMI, BMI is your body fat to lean tissue.

Overweight, Out of Shape, & want to be a Paramedic

LOL I'm a big guy too, (not all in fat though) dropping body fat is also a goal of mine (I plan on getting below 17% BMI, which would put me at 276lbs because of my frame, and muscle mass) What are everyone else's BMI goals?

AHA, and ARC First Aid Courses. and CPR

In my area, only EMT-B, I, and P are allowed to teach First Aid. and CPR. And Police Officers as well. But that's it. (for here anyways) AHA is a joke. (no offense) compared to ARC First Aid, AHA First Aid courses are the biggest joke of the century. (nothing hands on, vs ARC which every...
