We typically dont get follow up information on pt's. Especially when taken to main STEMI Centers outside of our area unfortunately.

So Bit of specifics here.... i work in a county where private EMS is first in and County fire is Just BLS and assisting us. Alot of them dont like it. they're all EMT certified but just show up to open doors, maybe take vitals and carry our bags...Despite this, easily 50% think they're better...

I dont entirely understand your statement.......I dont know what her "normal" ekg looks like.....Just what i took on scene and followed protocol and my best judgement as a new medic. I didnt see any evolvement of st elevation because the 12 leads were taken minutes apart or less....

I have to mention we took three 12 leads all showing Stemi Inferior but i know you mean serial 12 leads over a longer period of time and not back to back....

initial 4 lead showed obvious elevation in II and III.... `12 isnt QUITE as clear. Are you seeing st elevation in lead 2 as well to complete the inferior?or is that just me?

So 70 yo F, A&0X4 gcs15 cc of general weakness. pt has extensive cardiac hx with multiple MI's and stents placed in prior years. Pt has NO chest pain , shortness of breath, Nausea, vomiting or any other symptoms aside from weakness. SP02 96% RA, Allergy to ASA, Systolic in 180's, Pulse...

Realisticly though? Learn how to operate a gurney, drive and know routes or have a good garmin GPS. thats the bulk of your job. Learn where everything is in the ambulance so when its needed in a REAL emergency your not fumbling around for it for your medic. Like, when he wants a 7.0 ET Tube...

According to my Medic class though which is based out of LA County, They just had a Massive protocol revision which add's tons of standing orders and eliminates the mother may i For 911. Now granted 96% of everyone is still doing IFT, but at least LAFD is having more fun..... Lol.

Rocket medic is my favorite person here. He just random interjects himself into threads subliminally Encourging all of LA To move to texas. Like for real, he's awesome. And hey! It worked on me, once i get my P Card i'll be working with rocket medic for sure!
